Karma

People who practice wicca traditions or who even just go through life, often face karma.  Karma, to me, is like Mother Nature.  Karma is a person; a person who plays a similar role to The Fates in Greek mythology.  The Fates were thought of to be these three women who cut the strings that represented life.  Once they cut a string of a person, that person died.  Karma is similar to me because Karma makes decisions, just as we make decisions.  The decisions made by karma impact our lives greatly.  Some say karma comes back three times or ten times.  Well, in the Wiccan tradition, there is the Three-fold Law or Rule of Three.  It states that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times.  Not everyone, Wiccan or non, believes in this idea.  I am a firm believer in this however, and I will not mess with karma.  Although, karma is not nearly as noticed when it is positive energy because people tend to take advantage of when life has precious moments.  I believe karma does not have to return all of the energy at once either, I believe it has the willing mind to disperse it in clusters or variations, positive or negative.  This could be another reason people think that karma has not bestowed positive enegry around them.  I love karma and everything it represents.
