Card of the Day

The Hierophant.  This card can also be thought of as the High Priest, the counterpart to the High Priestess.  He is ruled by Taurus as well.  The Hierophant is very structured and follows a pretty regular routine.  In Tarot readings, the Hierophant card often stands for institutions and their values. The Hierophant is a symbol of the need to conform to rules or fixed situations. His appearance can show that you are dealing with a force that is not innovative or free-spirited.  This card also represents the pursuit of knowledge and education.  He is the counsellor of the Tarot.
