The festival went off very well. There were many great vendors, and the people who attended had so much variety and life.
I enjoyed reading everyone's cards. Well, there was an exception. The very first woman I read for had terrible energy. In fact, she was quite rude as well. During her reading, she began to tell me I was in the wrong business and that I was wrong in everyway (even though she had no knowledge of tarot). She also told me that she was going to go to the other readers to prove I was wrong. I handled myself a little too well. I should have given her money back and told her my cards rejected her energy but instead, I smiled and took her skepticism. I was told by everyone else how they loved talking to me and having their readings done. I looked around and noticed I wasn't the only person this woman was giving a hard time. Everyone else said I was right on the spot. I felt no other negative energy from my readings, but there was some floating around in there. I even had to leave my table a few times to breath and walk away. The congestion could get frustrating, but it was a part of the experience. I loved the festival overall. It was such a great event, and I plan to be a vendor for years to come.
I had my cards read by this psychic medium named Maggie Salter. She does angel readings and spirt guide readings. I was so drawn to this woman. I could not explain it, but her energy was inviting. She amazed me. I loved everything she told me. I hope to be placed beside her table again next year. I recommended her to many of my visitors. She is great! Check out her website.

Overall, for my first event, the festival was perfect! I encourage everyone to attend next year.
