Indigo Children and Second Sight

Indigo children are children who have ability to see "super natural" sights and have amazing traits.  These children can tell you things that blow your mind.  They know information and see things that most do not.  I know a child who knows all about his past grandparents and sees them from to time, but they died before he was born.  This child also almost died at birth.  Brushes with death and intense situations can bring out these abilities.  Also, this can just be something these children have. There is always concern or crtiticism with topics like this.  Every person is different, which means abilities and traits differ and vary. Indigo children are commonly seen to have ADHD or some type of learning issue because other parts of their brains are working harder.  They have the ability to tap into areas of themselves that most people cannot.  Indigo children is a term coined in the psychology field, but it is not something acclaimed.  This term and these children were made more "popular" in the public eye through books, movies, and other medias.  Knowing a child who has these capabilites is a blessing.  It is amazing and mind-blowing everytime.  These children could "grow out" of it or lose it over time, but they could hold their ability.  Either way, the concept is always fascinating.

Second sight is a term I love.  Personally, I have lost a good deal of sight due to a hereditary eye disease, so the idea of having sight in another form is outstanding.  Seeing spirits or ghosts in any form is often thought of as "hokey" because people need to see to believe.  When someone can't see something you see, they have doubt.  That's normal.  People don't know how to feel about the topic.  It is so taboo and controversial.  A lot of media like TV shows and vendors make these abilites seem false and just a scam to make money.  I am positive that there are people who fake and lie to make a quick buck, but that happens with everything.  It is a shame that people muck up the idea of something like this.  I am a true believer and seer and I do not care who doubts me.  Another second sight ability is having dreams where these spirits and ghosts can come to you.  You feel this world that most people can't feel.  It is an overwhelming feeling that holds this odd weight on you.  A young man died a few blocks away from our home, and when I am on that road, I get these heavy pain on my chest.  I dream about him from time to time, but I never met the guy when he was alive.  It keeps stumping me.  I have questions that no one can answer.  Then again, that is the beauty that comes with the gift.  There are unanswered and bewildering thoughts and questions.  I search for more and more information, but experience is the best action to gain knowledge.
