The Nine of Swords. Although this card does look pretty bleak, it carries the positive meaning that the darkest hour comes before the dawn. It is like a sleepless night filled with overburdening thoughts, but you wake and see the light of change.
The Five of Cups. The subject of loss is one we don't handle very well. This card seems negative, but there is a positive interpretation too. This card invites you to embrace change and go with the flow. This type is change is something you don't have control over, but it can be a change that needs welcoming.
The Devil. The Devil appears when we are in the dark. The positive side of this card asks us to accept out limitations and understand that there are expectations. This card shows that you have fears that hold you back, but once this is brought to your attention, a good change can be made.
All of these cards scare people the moment they are laid down. As a reader, it is frustrating to assure people to not always assume the worst. Be realistic but not a constant Debbie Downer. Try to encompass all of the meanings and interpretations and welcome what is coming your way. A good bit of the time, change can be welcomed and lessen the blow of what is on the more negative side. But don't assume the worst. Take everything in and breathe :)
