Temperance. The angel on this card is actually thought to be a hermaphrodite (the child of Hermes and Aphrodite), showing a balance between the genders. This card is about balance and finding that content level of life without going into extremes. With one foot on land, one in water, and two cups, one in each hand, this really represents the balances and choices that are too be made in life. The word balance can't be used enough with this card. Also, cups are supposed to represent passion and emotion, so it's showing that passion can be used in balance, but do not go to the extremes.
